Career Development is the process of study and self-knowing and making decisions that put shape to your career. Career Development includes identifying and planning for learning, developing skills, managing a career, and advancing in a career.

Career development is necessary for a number of reasons: 

First, it can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and how to best utilize your skills. 

Second, it can help you set goals and create a plan to achieve them. 

Third, it can provide you with the opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge. 

Finally, it can help you stay motivated and focused on your career.
