What is Retaliation? 

Retaliation is a term that describes the action taken by an employer against an employee or applicant. It happens when someone reports harmful or illegal practices in their organization and receives disciplinary consequences from their employer or manager. 

This Action may include:

  1. Adverse employment action 
  2. Termination of employment
  3.  Reduction in pay
  4. Suspension without pay
  5. Reduction in benefits
  6.  Restriction in duties or hours
  7.  Non-renewal of contract
  8. Denial of promotion
