Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least two years of experience working in an accounting role.

Accounting Associate Duties:

  • Perform bookkeeping duties and accounting functions including paying invoices, reconciling bank accounts, and completing tax forms
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, including financial reports on sales, expenditures, and revenues
  • Process payroll
  • Maintain records for stock and inventory
  • Research and resolve accounting issues
  • Maintain financial records and reports
  • Create and analyze financial reports and budgets
  • Develop financial reports for management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Accounting Associate Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day accounting support for the company’s multiple business entities
  • Complete monthly cash position reconciliation, general ledger entries, and journal entries
  • Prepare reconciliation and month-end reports
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Assist with external reporting
  • Conduct month-end closing
  • Assist with supporting accounting activities related to company acquisitions
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and preparation of the year-end financial statements

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years experience in a related field, such as accounting or finance
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to accurately track costs in
