We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Officer to join our team and help us continue to grow. As our Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Accounting Officer Duties:

  • Research and interpret financial information
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning
  • Conduct financial audits
  • Identify and prosecute fraud and other financial irregularities
  • Process payroll and accounts payable
  • Monitor day-to-day accounting operations

Accounting Officer Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process, review, submit, and reconcile all daily transactions including sales invoices and purchases invoices
  • Assist with payroll duties including reviewing and submitting timesheets, and managing overtime
  • Accounting pre-close, and post-close responsibilities, including preparing journal entries, adjusting trial balance, completing month-end closing, and performing account reconciliations
  • Manage accounting operations, including processing account payables, account receivables, petty cash, and cash applications
  • Track and analyze accounting data and prepare monthly financial reports for management review
  • Document accounting processes and procedures and assist in training employees
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense reimbursement
  • Conduct internal audits and document corrective actions to address areas of improvement
  • Oversee and assist with IT needs, including network management, server maintenance, and hardware

Requirements And Skills:

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, Sage, or cloud-based accounting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
