Accounts Payable Manager Job Description

An accounts payable (AP) manager is responsible for managing a company's accounts payable department.

This role directly contributes to the financial health of a firm by managing invoices, vendors, and accounts, while also maintaining relationships with other stakeholders, such as banks, suppliers, and vendors.

The AP manager role can be incredibly complex.

In addition to managing accounts, this role is also responsible for managing all costs associated with accounts payable.

This involves not only maintaining an accurate inventory, but also keeping track of invoices, managing payments, and reconciling payments.
