An administrator is a person appointed by a court or by a government official to administer the affairs of someone who is unable to conduct their own affairs.

An administrator is appointed when a person dies without a will.

If the deceased’s estate is valued at more than $50,000, an administrator must be appointed.

If the estate is valued at less than $50,000, a personal representative does not have to be appointed, but they must name an administrator.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Administrator who is organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing office operations and coordinating events.

Administrator Duties:

  • Perform administrative support duties such as project budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and record keeping
  • Maintain records and databases
  • Process routine correspondence and reports
  • Assist with administrative support responsibilities

Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with project scheduling, day-to-day administrative duties, and vendor management
  • Perform administrative project support tasks including, but not limited to, preparing contracts, contract waivers, and payment applications, coordinating project submittals, monitoring project progress, and verifying project delivery
  • Assist with developing and maintaining project files, and maintain project documentation
  • Assist with project closeout and file archiving
  • Attend management and staff meetings

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience in an administrative job
  • Strong organization and communication skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and prioritize responsibilities
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a team environment
