Admissions Coordinator Duties:

  • Manage and oversee admissions processes
  • Assist with, and nurture, successful applicants during the school year
  • Work with and collaborate with the Educational Director and school site staff, admissions committees, and board members
  • Continuously work with all parents, students, teachers, and guests to ensure a positive experience

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 120+ students through enrollment process
  • Work closely with Director of Admissions, academic advisors, and student services representatives to ensure students receive quality care and their academic needs are met
  • Enroll new students by handling phone calls and in-person visits, using My.Walden University website, and answering general questions
  • Provide guidance and ensure timely completion of all admissions-related forms, including financial aid, housing, and enrollment deposit, to facilitate timely registration
  • Track enrollment numbers and review trends to identify opportunities
  • Coordinate and implement marketing events and initiatives
  • Assist with department-related responsibilities including making travel arrangements and managing department storage
  • Perform other duties as assigned*

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with students
  • Knowledge of recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain recruitment, admissions, and enrollment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with
