Job Brief:

We're looking for an experienced Application Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web-based applications, as well as working on new projects to improve our existing software. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for coding, we want to hear from you!

Application Developer Duties:

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining applications, and providing technical support and training for new and existing systems
  • Develop databases, reports, and interfaces using a variety of technologies
  • Assist in integrating legacy systems into new applications
  • Contribute to the implementation of data-driven strategies
  • Proactively seek and implement advances in technology
  • ► Work Location: Phoenix, AZ Metro Area

Application Developer Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and support new and upgraded systems, including developing and maintaining software, databases, applications, and websites
  • Develop and maintain detailed specifications and schedules
  • Develop and maintain test plans and test scripts, including unit, integration, and system testing, using manual and automated test methods
  • Maintain and update documentation, including project plans, technical reports, and project plans
  • Perform software quality assurance by reviewing code and conducting peer reviews
  • Participate in software deployment and maintenance, including trouble-shooting, updates, and upgrades
  • Plan and implement cost-effective upgrades, updates, and enhancements

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or computer science field
  • 3+ years experience in Java development
  • Experience with one or more of Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases
