Application Support Engineer Duties:

  • Responsible for continually improving application support efficiency, quality, and productivity

  • Develop and maintain documentation of application changes, bugs, and other defects
  • Create and update test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Execute testing, reporting, and tracking of software defects, and document execution results
  • Maintain relationships with other team members and vendors
  • Work with user groups to understand and improve processes

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience with application support engineering
  • Experience with Java, JSP, and Servlet technologies
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration
  • Experience in web designing and web infrastructure services: Apache
