We’re looking for an Appointment Setter to join our team and help us make appointments with our clients. You’ll be responsible for setting up appointments, keeping track of our clients’ schedules, and making sure that we’re meeting their needs. Appointment Setter Duties:

  • Create, modify, and maintain appointment setting databases
  • Effectively develop a prospect pipeline, contact visitors by phone or email, and set up appointments with qualified prospects
  • Make follow-up calls to prospects to confirm appointments
  • Maintain a professional and courteous phone manner
  • Ensure that appointments are scheduled at a convenient time for everyone
  • Work with management to set appointment times that are convenient for all
  • Track leads and contacts, make notes for the purpose of follow-up calls, and compile reports
  • Maintain and update databases to include new contacts, phone information, and appointment dates
  • Uses computer database to manage contacts and appointments,
  • Reviews appointment schedules and other reports to determine if contacts have been followed up on
  • Maintains a professional and courteous phone manner
  • Assists with office processes to include general office duties
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining files

Appointment Setter Responsibilities:

  • Recommends sales opportunities and develops new sales leads, reaching out to current and prospective customers by telephone and in person to generate new sales
  • Compiles sales information including historical sales, prospect lists, and territory sales activity
  • Conducts research to identify primary and secondary customers and generates new leads
  • Meets with clients and prospects to understand their specific needs and concerns
  • Conducts presentations of our products and services and negotiates sales agreements
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of all products and services
  • Meets sales goals by generating, qualifying, and following up on leads
  • Meets monthly and weekly sales quotas
  • Meets daily and weekly productivity goals for minimum call time, scheduled appointments, and appointments set
  • Prepares reports (e.g., call reports and sales reports)
  • Attends industry trade shows and other networking events

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience with revenue generation
  • Strong commitment to efficiency and quality service standards
  • Knowledge of financial products, products, and procedures, and ability to explain complex financial concepts to a potential client
