Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Area Manager to come on board and help us expand our operations into new markets. The Area Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our growth strategy, as well as overseeing all day-to-day operations in the new markets.

Area Manager Duties:

  • Oversee communication, coordination, and collaboration with managers and employees at your company’s designated region
  • Maintain effective relationships with industry colleagues, other management, and employees
  • Answer questions and address concerns of employees residing in your designated region
  • Provide support for recruiting, retention, and advancement efforts
  • Help new employees with onboarding, training, and development
  • Develop and implement annual and monthly operational goals for your designated region

Area Manager Responsibilities:

  • Do the work of 4-6 employees in one or more locations, including onsite leadership, managing and supervising employees, and project oversight
  • Supervise and hire team supervisors and assistant managers
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed schedules for team members; monitor and record team members’ work hours, attendance, and punctuality
  • Focus on meeting the company’s profitability and management goals
  • Identify, train, and retain high-performing employees to maximize team productivity
  • Execute staff promotions and performance evaluations
  • Conduct sales and business development activities, including prospecting, building relationships with prospects, and negotiating leases
  • Provide sales and leasing services, including identification, negotiation, and presentation of opportunities
  • Manage billings, collections, and client retention
  • Investigate and report on employee performance

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • 5+ years experience in retail, customer service, or management
  • Proven ability to lead a team of employees
  • Proven ability to train, coach, and evaluate team members
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising,
