We’re looking for an Audio Technician who is passionate about music and has a keen ear for detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in a studio or live setting and will be comfortable working with a variety of audio equipment. Audio Technician Duties:

  • Provide technical support to recording and broadcasting studios.
  • Ability to provide support for individuals involved in the music industry

Audio Technician Responsibilities:

  • Maintain highly developed working relationships with artists, engineers, managers, agents, producers, and promoters
  • Assist in the development of artists’ and engineers’ sound in order to meet their creative and technical needs
  • Provide sound reinforcement, system design, and consultation services for rehearsals, performances, and special events
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of performance issues in order to effectively resolve them or escalate them to appropriate parties
  • Assist in set up and pack down of equipment, including load-in and load-out, and load-in/breakdown
  • Maintain complete and accurate logs of equipment, inventory, and event information
  • Understand and follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements And Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with mixing and recording music
  • Experience with audio consoles
  • Experience with audio mixing instruments
  • Experience with audio editing software
