Ayurvedic Practitioner Job Description

A practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine, or the healing system of India, is a person who practices Ayurveda.

Ayurvedic practitioners use the healing techniques provided by the Ayurvedic system, which has been practiced in India for 5,000 years.

It is distinguished from its cousin, Chinese medicine, by the Indian belief that health is a state of balance, and that illness results from an imbalance in this balance.

Ayurvedic practitioners believe that direction of energy, or prana, in the body is necessary for good health.

A practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine works to remove blockages in the flow of energy by recommending dietary changes, herbal treatments, and massage.
