Banquet Server Duties:

  • Serve meals, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages to guests, operate cash register, receive and process payments, and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a professional appearance, work atmosphere, and service quality at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of service area, tables, and china, glassware, silverware, and meal trays
  • Sit at assigned station to receive, process, and deliver food and beverage orders, and fulfill special requests
  • Check food quality and temperature before serving, and report any problems immediately
  • Correct any discrepancies immediately after receiving notification
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus and prices
  • Maintain inventory of garnishes, condiments, and supplies
  • Attend daily, monthly, and annual sales meetings
  • Assist customers as needed
  • Perform daily cash handling and point-of-sale functions
  • Report any incidents to the GM immediately

Requirements And Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate clearly with guests and managers
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to assist guests with drinks, appetizers, meals, and desserts
  • Able to follow company policies and procedures
