BDC Representative Job Description

The Business Development Representative is a position tasked with identifying and building relationships with potential customers.

Representatives may attend trade shows, network with contacts in the business community, and use tools such as social media to find potential customers.

They may also follow up on leads they have generated through marketing efforts, meet customers in person, and solicit customer feedback.

The BDC Representative may also represent the company in meeting with financial institutions, shareholders, and customers.

We're looking for a BDC Representative who can help us improve our sales and customer service operations. BDC Representative Duties:

  • Provide quality customer interactions through customer service-oriented professionalism.
  • Assist customers by answering questions, processing sales, processing payments, and resolving disputes.
  • Offer customized solutions to meet customers’ needs.
  • Promote products and services to increase sales and profit.
  • Create a positive image of the Company’s products and services in the marketplace.
  • Provide assistance to customers needing assistance with deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and other banking transactions.
  • Attend to customer complaints and suggestions.
  • Compliment Company image and appearance.

BDC Representative Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound and outbound phone calls from customers, and provide service according to established procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints, complete forms to resolve customer issues, retrieve customer information from internal database, and route issues to appropriate departments.
  • Assist customers with payment options.
  • Conduct initial credit assessments and follow-up with verifications.
  • Arrange for customers to pick up their vehicles from service center.

Requirements And Skills:

  • 2+ years experience in sales or sales management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial products and industry terminology.
