Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Beauty Therapist who is passionate about making people look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different beauty treatments and be able to provide expert advice to clients. They will be responsible for providing a range of treatments, including facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures. Beauty Therapist Duties:

  • Provide personal service to members of the spa/salon, providing treatments and services according to standards and specifications
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with clients, other spa/salon personnel, and outside representatives
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of specific product lines, treatments, and contract services
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Assist in setting up appointments with new clients
  • Maintain records and payroll information

Beauty Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Obtain a clear idea of client requirements and expectations, and suggest and carry out appropriate treatments using the JCI (Joint Commission International) professional code of ethics
  • Provide cosmetic and therapeutic treatments according to specified JCI standards
  • Perform treatments, such as dermabrasion, chemical peels, spa manicure/pedicure, facials, body wraps, paraffin wax treatments, and hydrotherapy
  • Check clients’ skin to ensure health and safety

Requirements And Skills:

  • Proven experience in beauty therapy
  • Skills involving skin analysis and skin rejuvenation treatment
  • Skills required in nail and pedicure treatment
