Beekeeper Job Description

Beekeeping, also known as apiculture, is a practice that involves keeping bees.

Beekeepers seek to make honey and wax, and to observe and study the honeybee.

Beekeepers also raise and breed bees.

Beekeepers use a number of methods to care for bees.

Beehives, one of the most common forms of beekeeping, are hives that are divided into cells where the bees and their larvae are kept.

Honeybees live in colonies, and beekeepers keep colonies of bees for honey production.

Beekeepers also keep bees for pollination purposes, such as for the cultivation of crops.
