Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Benefits Representative who is passionate about helping people and providing excellent customer service. The Benefits Representative will be responsible for providing information and assistance to employees and retirees regarding their benefits. The Benefits Representative will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Benefits Representative Duties:

  • Understands company benefits, ERISA coverage, retirement, COBRA and changes or updates to all benefits
  • Implements new benefit programs, processes, and systems
  • Researches, recommends, and offers cost saving solutions to employees when appropriate
  • Directs employee inquiries to appropriate source or departments
  • Creates benefit communication materials that support company goals
  • Establishes a working relationship with employees, managers, supervisors, and HR
  • Utilizes current benefit packages and programs
  • Co-ordinates benefit plans with payroll
  • Maintains compliance, accuracy, and validity
  • Proactively identifies and resolves employee questions
  • Responds to inquiries

Benefits Representative Responsibilities:

  • Provides employees with available benefits plans and program information, and assists with enrollment and coordination of benefits
  • Works with employees to resolve benefit issues, and troubleshoot and resolve benefit related questions
  • Provides feedback to administration on employee benefit programs
  • Fulfills administrative responsibilities including processing payroll, and administering benefits, insurance, and retirement plans

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
