Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Buyer or Purchasing Agent who is detail-oriented and has experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will be able to negotiate contracts, find new suppliers, and manage relationships with existing suppliers.

Buyer or Purchasing Agent Duties:

  • Review, analyze, and audit purchasing documents, invoices, and receipts
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships, including negotiating prices, delivery times, and quantities
  • Research and report on new and existing company inventory levels
  • Identify, evaluate, and report on potential suppliers for future purchases
  • Monitor vendor performance, including delivery times, quality issues, and adherence to contracts
  • Meet with customers and vendors when necessary to resolve issues
