We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and gastronomy, and will be able to create innovative and exciting dishes that will wow our guests. Chef Duties:

  • Ensure flawless execution of all food events
  • Plan and manage the food operations for events ranging from 20 to 1,000 guests
  • Train and manage kitchen staff
  • Perform daily inventory and order food supplies
  • Develop menus and comply with health codes
  • Develop and oversee food production, preparation, and presentation
  • Recommend changes to menus and recipes based on feedback from guests
  • Lead culinary department in planning, researching, and implementing new menus and dishes
  • Successfully lead culinary team
  • Prepare requisitions for food purchases
  • Conduct inventory and prepare requisitions for food supplies
  • Conducts monthly inventory and oversees other culinary activities
  • Supervise all food supplies, equipment, and utensils
  • Develop and oversee budget and resources
  • Maintain health, safety, and environmental

Chef Responsibilities:

  • Create menus, design and execute culinary creations, and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Maintain inventory, including delivery schedules and food storage requirements
  • Manage the purchasing, ordering, and tracking of food products
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards, including food handling practices, use of equipment, and employee training
  • Develop and update product lists and inventories, including recipes
  • Oversee food preparation and delivery
  • Maintain food service areas, including preparation and service areas, kitchen, storage areas, and restrooms
  • Oversee staff scheduling and hiring
  • Delegate tasks to subordinates, and oversee their completion
  • Conduct risk assessments and oversee food safety programs
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and productive work environment
  • Maintain financial record and financial information
  • Maintain equipment and supplies for food preparation

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, restaurant management, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in a chef role
  • Knowledge of menu development, food safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Strong ability to train subordinates
  • Excellence in time management, organization, and customer relations
