  • Use data to assess where improvements can be made and how to implement them
  • Identify the potential environmental impact of company activities, products and services, and determine employee training needs
  • Monitor all sustainable practices, and continually drive for improvement
  • Oversee the development of renewable power, water, and waste reduction practices

Chief Green Officer (CGO) Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all company green initiatives support the overall business strategy and contribute to bottom line profits
  • Oversee waste management, recycling, and purchasing practices
  • Develop and implement an energy-savings plan, including the use of renewable energy
