Chief Strategy Officer Duties:

  • Develop short- and long-term plans that advance the company’s revenue, market position, and brand
  • Research and develop strategic market opportunities and threats
  • Constantly evaluate and analyze the competitive landscape
  • Modify and test company processes to enable growth
  • Develop and oversee budgets
  • Meet with clients and prospects to discover needs and design solutions
  • Develop and implement new marketing strategies
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Maintain informed and educated customers

Chief Strategy Officer Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans, play a leadership role across marketing, sales and product, and oversee operations and IT
  • Collaborate with product development teams, product marketing, and sales to develop product and business strategies
  • Develop long-range, strategic marketing plans based on market trends, market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer feedback
  • Partner with sales to implement marketing plans and track results
  • Gather and interpret market research and data, and direct the development of compelling forecasts
  • Work with finance and accounting to develop budgets, expense plans, and cash flow projections, and oversee financial operations
