Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Chief Talent Officer who can help us find and develop the best talent for our company. This is a critical role that will help us stay ahead of the competition and continue to grow our business.

Chief Talent Officer Duties:

  • Manage all employee-related issues, including recruiting, training, policy/practices, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee development
  • Build a strong employee community by fostering a sense of belonging, open communication, and pride in work
  • Establish a high-performance culture that focuses on career development
  • Provide management with direction on workforce planning and staffing needs
  • Proactively identify, develop and interview potential candidates
  • Develop job descriptions consistent with business needs, department needs, and culture
  • Develop and manage a talent acquisition process
  • Develop and implement a training and development plan
  • Develop policies and procedures that align with business goals
  • Encourage employee input in planning, implementation, and evaluation of employee development
  • Ensure compliance with employee-related laws, regulations, and policies
  • Oversee all documentation pertaining to employees
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment

Chief Talent Officer Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s talent acquisition strategy and build the talent pipeline
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies, including maintaining a pipeline of candidates, scouting for talent, hiring, and training
  • Manage the onboarding process, including preparing documentation, scheduling interviews, and arranging for employment data, tax forms, and company benefits
  • Maintain job descriptions and compensation schedules
  • Manage the recruiting budget
  • Oversee the development and implementation of internal training programs, including job shadowing and skills fairs
  • Develop the company’s culture, including the core values and company brand through which employees interact with clients
  • Keep up to date on employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field
  • 4+ years human resources management experience
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly skilled in employee relations counseling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
