We’re looking for an experienced Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of all ages and will be able to create a safe and fun environment for them to learn and grow. Childcare Teacher Duties:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children and staff and participate in the planning, development, and implementation of daily educational/program activities
  • Assist in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children
  • Create and implement lesson plans for all age groups
  • Maintain individual records and child files for all children
  • Interact with parents and other childcare professionals
  • Develop activities for children with cognitive, physical, and emotional disabilities
  • Provide daily written and oral reports to caregivers
  • Provide children with emotional guidance and supervision
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster children’s emotional development

Childcare Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal attention to children, encourage creativity and independence, provide developmentally appropriate activities, develop child’s self-esteem and

  • Provide a safe, healthy, and secure environment
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked classroom
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate nannies, au pairs, babysitters, and camp counselors
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with parents
  • Successfully complete required training programs
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability to guide children through age appropriate activities
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork
  • Provide ongoing in-service training
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal information
  • Complete training requirements as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or related field
  • Experience working with children from ages 6 months – 5 years
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
