Choreographer Job Description

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Choreographer to create fun and original dance routines for our upcoming production. You will be responsible for working with the cast to create routines that are both visually stunning and easy to follow. Choreographer Duties:

• Develop daily and weekly schedules for employees
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate employees
• Perform pre- and post-audits of activities
• Implement quality control measures for activities
• Develop and maintain training programs for new and existing employees
• Coordinate with vendors in order to meet the needs of the organization

Choreographer Responsibilities:

• Create dance routines for video, television, and live performances
• Plan and rehearse performances
• Create dance routines and choreograph sets for stage, television, and live performances

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in dance, kinesiology, or related field
• 2+ years’ proven experience in teaching dance or other related physical activity
• Knowledge of dance techniques, terminology, and forms
• Proven ability to manage group instruction
