Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership and support to our clinical team. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that our clinical team provides high quality patient care and services.

Clinical Supervisor Duties:

  • Manage the clinical team
  • Have own caseload of patients
  • Implement treatment plans for patients
  • Supervise clinical staff in daily operations
  • Develop and maintain positive patient and staff relationships
  • Ensure that each patient receives timely and appropriate care
  • Act as a role model for team members
  • Train, develop, and evaluate clinical staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of direct reports who deliver patient care
  • Ensure organizational policies and procedures are followed
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of job related reports, including employee evaluations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees
  • Assist with development of annual and monthly training programs
  • Assist the Manager with coordination of scheduling and staffing
  • Oversee staff scheduling, evaluating, and prioritizing workload
  • Assist with staff performance reviews and personnel decisions, including disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate with all levels of management in resolving staffing and scheduling issues
  • Prepare and maintain related records
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
  • 2+ years of clinical supervision experience
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks while maintaining organizational control
  • Highly trained in conflict
