Job Brief:

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead and oversee all commercial activities for our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of commercial professionals and be able to develop and implement strategies that maximize profits. Commercial Manager Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a procedure for reviewing and approving all projects
  • Establish and maintain consistency in contract requirements
  • Assist in setting up and setting up operations for new business lines
  • Research, prepare, negotiate, and administer agreements
  • Maintain current knowledge of laws, bylaws, policies, and procedures
  • Place orders for supplies, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain all company stationary, brochures, and advertising
  • Review and approve any company contracts
  • Coordinate all financial, accounting, and payroll activities
  • Review all documentation to make sure it is in accordance with company policies
  • Review and evaluate all records and reports submitted by staff
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain company inventory and records
  • Maintain relationships with vendors
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry standards

Commercial Manager Responsibilities:

  • 2+ years’ previous experience in commercial construction or real estate
  • Knowledge of project terminology (e.g., blueprints, cost estimates, specifications, construction documents)
  • Knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations
  • Knowledge of basic contract law and negotiation
