We’re looking for a Communications Officer to join our team! As our Communications Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing our communications strategy, managing our social media accounts, and creating content to engage our audiences. Communications Officer Duties:

  • Oversee all internal and external communications of organization including web, social media, email, and phone
  • Organize and plan company events
  • Research, plan, and draft press releases, media alerts, and other communications
  • Create, edit, and proofread texts, articles, reports, and emails
  • Develop and maintain company websites
  • Maintain company intranet and social media accounts
  • Test and troubleshoot company websites and apps
  • Develop and write content for company websites and blogs
  • Plan, coordinate and attend community activities
  • Provide update reports on community activities and conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Communications Officer Responsibilities:

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism
  • 3+ years’ experience as a public relations professional
  • Strong communication skills, in both written and oral form
  • Ability to develop and implement communications strategies
  • Knowledge of digital media, including social media
  • Strong familiarity with public relations
