Job Brief:

We're looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team and help us spread the word about our amazing products and services. As our Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing communication plans that will raise awareness of our brand and help us achieve our business goals. If you have a passion for communication and a desire to help a growing company succeed, we want to hear from you!

Communications Specialist Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain communications systems
  • Develop and implement communication strategies and procedures
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues
  • Oversee communications, technology, and networks
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Maintain appropriate vendor relationships
  • Oversee external communications to ensure quality and consistency
  • Provide training on systems and/or programs

Communications Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive communication databases and systems, including customer and prospect information, sales activity, and call reports
  • Write, analyze, and proofread newsletters, brochures, ads, website content, and press releases; evaluate the effectiveness of communications campaigns and programs
  • Work with outside vendors to develop integrated communications programs that include online and offline channels
  • Perform market research to identify customer needs and trends, and apply the findings to communications and marketing strategies
  • Manage the implementation of social media sites and online campaigns
  • Assist with interview preparation and candidate selection, and assist with onboarding new team members
  • Communicate company objectives to new and existing customers, and attend company social functions
