A Company Nurse (CN) is a registered nurse (RN) who works for a company.

While a CN may not be overseeing patient care, the CN’s duties and responsibilities are similar.

Job Brief:

We are looking for a Company Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with experience in a corporate setting.

Company Nurse Duties:

  • Collaborate with physician and other medical staff regarding patient care
  • Train new employees
  • Support physician through serving as liaison between physician and patient
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Company Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary medical resource for the company, coordinating care between various healthcare facilities and individuals
  • Perform health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide vaccinations and medications
  • Refer individuals to specialists as appropriate
  • Maintain and update health records of all employees and referring physicians
  • Perform annual health assessments
  • Attend monthly Health/Safety meetings
  • Assist with employee illness and injury management

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years’ experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures, first aid, CPR and emergency equipment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently
