Job Brief:

We're looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager who can help us develop and administer our employee compensation and benefits programs. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting benefits surveys, researching and evaluating benefit options, and developing and managing our employee benefits programs. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Compensation and Benefits Manager Duties:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, clients, and vendors
  • Work with Human Resources staff to ensure optimal employee compensation and benefits packages
  • Research and develop innovative approaches for compensation and benefits
  • Analyze data, examine trends, and suggest changes in compensation and benefits programs
  • Maintain accurate records of all compensation and benefit programs
  • Develop and maintain strong employee relations
  • Research and develop new employee benefits programs

Compensation and Benefits Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work with HR Manager to manage compensation and benefit plans and programs
  • Assist with compensation studies, market surveys, and salary surveys
  • Review salary surveys and job announcements to identify market trends
  • Write and manage job descriptions and position descriptions
  • Develop compensation and benefit packages including salaries, bonuses, commissions, employee benefits, and equity options
  • Oversee salary administration, record keeping, and payroll
  • Maintain accurate employee records, and manage compensation starts, terminations, and anniversaries
  • Implement appropriate performance-based incentive programs
  • Manage employee benefit programs including health and welfare, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
  • Assume responsibility for compliance of compensation and benefits programs with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Coordinate offsite fringe benefit enrollments, including COBRA administration
  • Oversee employee benefit reporting and filing
