Job Brief:

We're looking for a Construction Laborer to work on a variety of construction projects. The Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.

Construction Laborer Duties:

  • Assist and supervise general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors perform groundwork ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Liaise between engineers, architects, and others working on the project.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues.
  • Take on projects which do not require supervision.
  • Keep job site clean and safe.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained and in good working order.
  • Assist in completing various paperwork.

Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Construction Manager with all aspects of construction including but not limited to:- All duties associated with the supervision, direction and control of a labor force engaged in construction work.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all job activities.
  • Performing quality work in compliance with prevailing codes.
  • Performing all job duties in a timely manner.
  • Instructing employees in the proper usage of equipment and tools.
  • Assisting in preparing and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements And Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required.
  • No criminal record.
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly and in excess of 5 times.
