Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Consultant to join our team who can help us with our current project.

Consultant Duties:

• Assist in project planning, development, and implementation
• Assist in client and client needs assessment and refinement
• Manage consultants, support staff, and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
• Establish goals and monitor performance of consultants, support staff, and contractors

Consultant Responsibilities:

• Review bids and proposals, and provide technical assistance during preconstruction and bid out stages; develop scopes of work, specifications, and contract documents
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and plans between all organizational departments and external consultants
• Review, evaluate, and recommend solutions to construction problems
• Conduct pre-construction meetings, prepare construction schedules, conduct field meetings, prepare punch lists, and review progress documents
• Maintain and update project documents with input from project management department
• Develop and monitor budgets for projects
• Maintain records on performance, cost, and quality

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or computer science
• 8+ years’ proven experience in a similar engineering or consulting firm
• Experience in CAD drafting/design and familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, and municipal codes
