Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Content Strategist who can help us develop and execute a content strategy that will help us achieve our business goals. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing content strategies, and will be able to create content that is both engaging and effective.

Content Strategist Duties:

  • Ensure content strategies meet company goals
  • Research and evaluate content strategies to inform current and new strategies
  • Develop new editorial and content is created based on the analysis of current content
  • Conduct editorial planning, research, and strategy meetings
  • Create content calendars and workflows
  • Set editorial and content marketing goals
  • Develop and revise content strategies for specific target audiences
  • Researching, writing, and reviewing content
  • Developing content style guides

Content Strategist Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, edit, and produce content for company websites, marketing materials, and social media, including blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, infographics, white papers, and other marketing materials
  • Organize and optimize content to enhance searchability and provide value to site visitors
  • Manage social media content calendars and schedule content posts
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of B2B technology sectors
  • Develop and improve on existing content, maintaining consistent tone, voice, and style, both within and between channels
  • Report content performance to senior management and revise content to optimize it
  • Monitor social media metrics, evaluate audience engagement, and report on content performance

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience managing content strategy for large organizations
  • Search engine optimization and writing skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot content issues and develop strategies to resolve them
  • Ability to leverage design, interactive, and other content
