Job Brief:

We're looking for a Conversion Optimization Specialist to help us improve our website's conversion rate. This person will be responsible for testing different website designs and layouts to see which ones are most effective at converting visitors into customers. They will also be responsible for conducting user research to understand how our visitors interact with our site and what their needs are. Conversion Optimization Specialist Duties:

  • Develop and execute conversion optimization strategies for new and existing websites, to include A/B testing, multivariate testing, and SEO
  • Analyze and optimize conversion rates based on customer behavior
  • Maintain detailed records of test results and work processes
  • Report to management on conversion optimization results, identifying areas for improvement
  • Provide ongoing web optimization recommendations and suggestions for ongoing testing
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and other members of the marketing team

Conversion Optimization Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Optimize eCommerce web properties to drive conversion rate improvement (CVR) and revenue via A/B testing, including conducting tests, managing test results, and interpreting results
  • Optimize landing pages and content to ensure relevancy and intent
  • Identify opportunities for landing page content, design, and merchandising to increase CVR
  • Identify and test alternative site layouts that provide improved user experience while reducing abandonment
  • Optimize site usability through proper use of analytics data
  • Manage A/B testing efforts, including planning test executions, analyzing results, and communicating results to stakeholders
  • Define and communicate conversion goals and KPIs to stakeholders
  • Identify and influence cross-team initiatives that support conversion optimization projects
  • Utilize and analyze reporting tools to provide actionable insight and recommendations to stakeholders
