Job Brief:

We're looking for a Corporate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law and be able to provide legal advice to our clients. If you are a self-starter and have a passion for helping businesses grow, we want to hear from you!

Corporate Attorney Duties:

  • Assist senior management in effectively managing legal risks, increasing organizational capacity, and achieving strategic objectives
  • Research, draft, and negotiate complex agreements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures
  • Train staff on legal compliance
  • Establish legal compliance program
  • Advise on optimal legal structure for business operations
  • Research and build knowledge of new legal trends and laws
  • Represent company at legal forums, hearings, and trials
  • Consult with management on legal issues

Corporate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain client relationships, assign transaction work, develop and maintain client relationships, write and review contracts, and coordinate litigation support
  • Assist in the negotiation and drafting of new contracts and review contracts to ensure adherence to all legal standards and practices
  • Research, evaluate, and interpret legal issues to identify, formulate, and resolve problems
  • Assist with the administration of all litigation matters, including pre-litigation activities
  • Assist the General Counsel and department heads in all aspects of legal operations
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience in a procurement or legal affairs position
  • Strong familiarity with federal and state laws
