A credentialing coordinator is a manager or employee in charge of coordinating the process of credentialing a group of individuals.

CANDIDATES First, the credentialing coordinator will review all of the candidates and figure out what credentials are necessary to the job.

The credentialing coordinator will determine what candidate credentials need to be completed.

Next, the credentialing coordinator will collect the necessary credentials and send them to the appropriate organization for completion or verification.

Once the candidate returns the completed credentials, the credentialing coordinator will verify that they are the correct credentials.

The credentialing coordinator will then compare the candidates’ credentials against the job requirements.
