A credentialing coordinator is a manager or employee in charge of coordinating the process of credentialing a group of individuals.

CANDIDATES First, the credentialing coordinator will review all of the candidates and figure out what credentials are necessary to the job.

The credentialing coordinator will determine what candidate credentials need to be completed.

Next, the credentialing coordinator will collect the necessary credentials and send them to the appropriate organization for completion or verification.

Once the candidate returns the completed credentials, the credentialing coordinator will verify that they are the correct credentials.

The credentialing coordinator will then compare the candidates’ credentials against the job requirements.

  • Schedule and administer testing
  • Record and manage all CEU records

  • Familiarize yourself with the credentialing process, and work to resolve any problems or challenges in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Perform administrative functions, such as scheduling appointments, recording information, and running reports
  • Other duties as assigned
