Curriculum Designer Duties:

  • Keep abreast of industry standards and technology
  • Update company’s educational standards to align with changing standards
  • Promote new and standardized courses
  • Maintain training database
  • Constantly assess current programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Create new curricula
  • Develop training programs for new and existing employees
  • Oversee the organization’s health and safety policies
  • Oversee the organization of training courses

Curriculum Designer Responsibilities:

  • Develop curriculum and training materials aimed at ensuring the quality of curriculum delivery
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of standardized training methods
  • Collaborate with managers to develop training programs
  • Develop and revise training materials for both internal and external audiences, including new hires, new supervisors, and existing employees
  • Assist with onboarding new-hires through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs
  • Evaluate training programs, program content, and instruction
  • Develop ad hoc training programs
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in curriculum or instructional design
  • 5+ years’ curriculum design experience
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in curriculum design and instructional delivery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of instructional design tools and applications
