Database Developer Duties:

  • Develop and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server tools
  • Create and enhance databases using Microsoft SQL Server tools
  • Assist with analysis of SQL queries to identify performance bottlenecks
  • Maintain and optimize system performance
  • Maintain database integrity, security, and recovery
  • Develop database design and documentation
  • Discuss and recommend database solutions, software options, and tool enhancements to management
  • Coordinate with IT developers and other specialists
  • Assist with the implementation of new databases
  • Regular review of databases for performance and identify issues
  • Create database back-up plans
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the database
  • Assist with training and trouble shooting databases
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and administration of databases
  • Assist with installation of applications
  • Develop reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Assist with designing, coding, testing, debugging, and installing other in-house

Database Developer Responsibilities:
