Day Care Director Duties:

  • Obtain necessary licensures and certifications including the Child Development Associate credential and participate in any required continuing education
  • Maintain regulatory compliance
  • Maintain proper staff records to ensure accurate payroll

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, education, or related field
  • 4+ years’ proven experience leading a child care center
  • Knowledge of child care and child development
