Job Brief:

We’re looking for Design Consultant to help us design our new office space. We need someone who can help us create a functional and stylish office that will be comfortable for our employees and impressive to our clients.

Design Consultant Duties:

  • Design of floor plans, materials, and layouts of buildings, interiors, and elevations
  • Study and assess spatial requirements, physical and functional characteristics, and site conditions
  • Research and study building-related articles, services, and products
  • Analyze data regarding buildings or interior spaces
  • Use CAD software to design interior layouts, floor plans, elevations, and blueprints
  • Complete detailed architectural renderings
  • Provide expert information on the construction, construction management, and contracting fields
  • Manage, supervise, and instruct crews
  • Update existing technology
  • Develop, execute, and manage projects
  • Set and monitor budgets and schedules
  • Estimate build, renovation, or design cost
  • Recommend equipment, materials, and layout
  • Plan site layout
  • Perform site supervision

Design Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Create graphic designs for promotional materials, flyers, banners, and layouts for web pages
  • Design logos and brand identities
  • Develop and print proofs for client approval
  • Maintain the organization of promotional assets and files
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field
  • 5+ years experience in architecture, design, or construction
  • Knowledge of mathematical and conceptual principles of design
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of environmental issues
