Domestic Engineer Job Description

A domestic engineer is a person that takes care of the needs of a household.

This could be taking care of the family's personal needs, such as cleaning the household, cooking, and taking care of the children.

It also refers to taking care of business needs such as paying the household's bills, preparing budgets, and grocery shopping.

A person could either be a full-time or part-time domestic engineer but most of the time, domestic engineers are homemakers, taking care of the family's needs.

This term was also used during the Depression when many people lost their jobs and needed to find other ways of supporting themselves.
