We’re looking for an Electronics Technician who can help us repair and maintain our electronic equipment. Electronics Technician Duties:

  • Perform electrical and electronic assembly, testing, and maintenance on electronic equipment
  • Perform some basic troubleshooting and repairs on electronic equipment
  • Carry out tests on electronic systems
  • Perform basic electrical engineering tests, including calibrations, on electronic systems
  • Perform basic electrical tests and repairs on electrical systems
  • Calibrate and repair electronic equipment
  • Install, configure, and test electronic equipment and systems
  • May be required to work in teams on projects

Electronics Technician Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, install, and repair electronic equipment and machinery, such as computers, printers, industrial components, and electronic components
  • Install, maintain, repair, and configure computer hardware, including modems, switches, routers, network equipment, and cable/telephone/DSL lines
  • Troubleshoot hardware and network problems, and research and document solutions
  • Maintain inventory controls, and oversee purchasing and order fulfillment
  • Provide technical support to end users, and document procedures and processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electronic or computer engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years’ working experience in electronics or a related field
  • Knowledge of electronics, basic electrical components, and computer/electronic circuits
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems
