We’re looking for an Environmental Engineer to work with us on a variety of projects. You’ll be responsible for assessing environmental impact, designing and implementing environmental protection plans, and monitoring compliance with environmental regulations. Environmental Engineer Duties:

  • Develop and oversee environmental engineering practices in designated geographical areas

  • Provide guidance and direction to other employees working on environmental projects

Environmental Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Review Scope of Work, breakdown, and bid documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Communicate with project architect, engineers, and subcontractors to plan the project schedule, coordinate design, and manage work
  • Manage daily workload, including reviewing and submitting daily progress reports, performing quality inspections, and preparing change orders
  • Oversee project schedule, including submittal of daily progress reports, making site visits, and performing quality inspections
  • Maintain schedule by reviewing and approving submittal g and shop drawings, conducting field surveys, performing cost estimating, and identifying work delays
  • Develop, track, and report projects’ progress, cost, and schedule to management
  • Perform field inspections, including checking for safety hazards such as trip hazards, guardrails, and pedestrian walkways
  • Maintain and review all operations documents,

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an Environmental Engineer
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and procedures
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment and reclamation processes
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies
  • Knowledge of potable water
