Event Coordinator Duties:

  • Develop, manage, and oversee event ticket sales and program

Event Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities associated with major meetings and events that include venue selection, catering, live entertainment, and audio-visual equipment
  • Negotiate contracts, determine prices, and reconcile invoices
  • Manage budgets and supplier relationships
  • Set up off-site meetings in host venues
  • Ensure all necessary permissions are obtained and inventory levels are adequate
  • Coordinate all event paperwork
  • Conduct site-visits, facility tours, and facility walk-through
  • Meet with clients and vendors at the client’s office/location or over the virtual conference system
  • Maintain and update databases, reports, spreadsheets, and reports
