An expatriate administrator is an individual or company that provides administrative assistance to expatriate employees or executives.

Expatriate Administrator Duties:

  • Support company’s global expansion by managing the expatriate program, ensuring compliance with company’s international regulations
  • Promote the company image and reputation
  • Enforce company policy and procedures
  • Promote company’s policies, programs, procedures, and values
  • Maintain and update, when necessary, all company specific documentation
  • Assist with recruitment process
  • Promote legal compliance
  • Facilitate workers’ transition to the organization
  • Enforce all company’s programs, policies, and procedures

  • Oversee setup of home office, infrastructure, facilities

  • Assist with relocation and Outbound travel arrangement for expatriates
  • Maintain and update local employee’s records including addresses, bank account, and visa processing
  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports
  • Create and maintain files on all personnel, including local employees, expatriates, and contractors
  • Recommend and implement security enhancements
  • Assist with vendor vetting
  • Provide administrative support as required

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years experience in administration activities
  • Understanding of mission, purpose, and policies of the company
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception
