A field investigator is someone who conducts business investigations.
Field investigators are often hired by insurance companies, law firms, and other organizations in order to discover data that will help support a legal claim or investigation.
Often, field investigators are hired after they have been hired by a solicitor or insurance investigator to conduct an onsite investigation.
In most cases, field investigators are hired on a freelance basis, and they often work alone.
Field investigators typically conduct onsite investigations by visiting businesses, interviewing employees, and collecting financial records.
