Job Brief:

We're looking for a Field Sales Manager who can help us increase our sales and market share. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a sales team and developing sales strategies.

Field Sales Manager Duties:

  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies
  • Converse with potential and existing clients to provide product knowledge and demonstrate company’s products
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with key customers
  • Effectively utilize data and analytics tools for sales forecasting
  • Work closely with sales team to identify issues and address problems
  • Oversee the dispatch of field personnel, scheduling work, and adjusting work priorities
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospective clients
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries
  • Develop and maintain referral sources

Field Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current and active market knowledge, including competitor and pricing trends
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities, while forecasting the sales needed to support business goals
  • Make regular visits to prospective accounts, including new store openings, existing store remodels, and expansions
  • Oversee the installation of a retail store’s layout, fixtures, and equipment
  • Conduct presentations to decision makers
  • Prepare and submit proposals to potential customers
  • Train sales staff
  • Develop and manage a sales territory with revenue goals
