As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing our accounting team, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to improve our financial health. Financial Controller Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting activities of the company, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, general ledger activity, and payroll
  • Perform daily accounting functions including reconciliations, data entry/analysis, and preparation of financial reports
  • Manage and monitor cash disbursements, deposits, and budget calculations
  • Liaise with clients and vendors regarding payments, process invoices, and follow up on overdue balances or disputed transactions
  • Maintain financial records and files using QuickBooks
  • Create monthly financial statements
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Perform month-end closings for all accounting transactions
  • Maintain the integrity of the accounting system

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense reports
  • Review financial statements and reports, prepare budgets, and assure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
  • Maintain physical and electronic databases, record transactions, and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare financial documents for internal and external reporting purposes
  • Maintain financial accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and expense reports
  • Assist with audit management and preparation, and provide management reports
  • Assist with tax planning and preparation
  • Balance financial statements and prepare reports
  • Maintain accounting and financial reporting systems
  • Improve operations and profitability

Requirements And Skills:

  • -Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
  • 3+ years proven experience in an accounts payable and receivable role
  • Excellent record-keeping, analytical, and communication skills
