Job Brief:

We're looking for a Financial Planner to help us save for our future. We want someone who can help us create a budget and stick to it, as well as offer advice on investing and saving money.

Financial Planner Duties:

  • Invest in knowledge and capabilities
  • Provide updated financial information to management on a regular basis
  • Review financial data and recommend accounting procedures that comply with industry guidelines
  • Provide financial advice and support
  • Develop and maintain organizational accounting information systems
  • Develop and maintain strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting systems
  • Identify and analyze trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop reports for management, clients, and the public
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Research, develop, and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Expand organization’s finance function

Financial Planner Responsibilities:

  • Regularly assess, evaluate, and recommend specific financial, investment, and insurance solutions to address business and personal concerns of clients
  • Apply valuation methods and analysis of financial statements to determine feasible strategies for value enhancement and enhancement to client portfolios
  • Develop investment strategies and recommend appropriate asset allocation strategies for new and existing clients, including determining appropriate tax treatment
  • Develop Portfolio Risk Management Strategies including alternative investments and risk management techniques, including contingency planning, insurance, and estate planning
  • Research financial markets and economic conditions, and ensure the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of investment portfolios
  • Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of all investment products, services, and providers
  • Assist with business plan development, first-quarter projections, and presentations
  • Maintain client account books and records
  • Provide recommendations regarding retirement plan design, implementation, and distribution
  • Provide financial planning services, including cash flow analysis, investment analysis,

Requirements And Skills:

  • Proven experience working with financial institutions in financial planning and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field
  • 3+ years in financial planning and analysis
  • Working knowledge of financial planning software, including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Worked as a team player
